Shornakhod:: Chilled potato and garbanzo bean salad, dressed with a zippy cilantro and cayenne vinaigrette.

Shami Kebab:: Finely ground sirloin with onion and coriander seeds formed into thin patties, breaded, pan-seared, and served with a side of cilantro chutney.

Aush:: Traditional noodle and yogurt soup with garbanzo and kidney beans, flavored with mint and dill.

Kebabs are served with palaw - a traditional Afghani Basmati rice baked with herbs and spices and Afghani salata.

Murgh Kebab:: Tender pieces of chicken breast marinated in saffron, ginger, garlic, lemon, a touch of cayenne pepper and yogurt, grilled to perfection. (mild or spicy)

Bamiyan Kebab:: Tenderloin beef marinated in black pepper, olive oil and garlic - grilled to your taste.

Bara Kebab:: Boneless cubes of lamb loin marinated in Bamiyan’s special marinade.

Kofta Kebab:: Minced beef with onions, cilantro and jalapeño, grilled over an open flame.
Combo Kebab:: Combo of all 4 Kebabs.

Qabargha:: Rack of lamb marinated in fresh garlic, lemon juice, coriander seed, lemon pepper, olive oil, turmeric and yogurt served with a side of mint chutney and palaw.

Ashak:: Dumplings filled with scallions, cilantro, parsley and chives. Served with our tomato-beef sauce, drizzled with yogurt-garlic sauce, and sprinkled with dried mint.

Badenjan Borani:: Fresh eggplant, sautéed and baked, topped with our tomato-beef sauce and garnished with a chilled garlic-mint yogurt. Served with palaw.

Qorma-i Sabzi:: Spinach infused with scallion, cilantro, dill and fenugreek, served with savory beef stew over palaw.

Qorma-i Murgh:: Chicken breast simmered in a saffron plum sauce lightly scented with cardamom and ginger, and accented with yellow split peas. Served with palaw.

Qorma-i Bara:: Lamb shank braised in a delectably herbed stew until very tender. Served with palaw (a slow-cooked, flavorful pearl rice) and cilantro chutney.

Mantoo:: Steamed dumplings stuffed with ground beef and onions and seasoned with black pepper. Served with our tomato-beef sauce and a savory yogurt sauce seasoned with garlic, cilantro and ginger, and sprinkled with ground coriander seed.
